Km0 Series

Km0 is a new series that was recently developed to add diversity into Sarah's body of work while also connecting with aspects of life that are important to her. Km0 is a term used to measure a particular location that a disance is measured- so think like...the center of a city for example. Sarah is interpreting it more personally where she likes to think of her personal km0 as her home. So anywhere she travels in this world, the distance measured if from her home (km0) to the destination. In this series, you'll find lots of texture, softly written words and phrases in graphite, and the coordinates of wherever your km0 may be (if you customize it that is). In this specific piece, the km0 is Houston, Texas, USA. So you'll find the coordinates of Houston written delicately into the painting.
